Meanwhile, Taapsee and Bhumi garnered a lot of appreciation for portraying an older avatar for this film. Though some Bollywood stars did find it off but that didn't stop the fans to pour in more love and recognition. Talking about the movie, Saand Ki Aankh is based on a true story. A village called Johri in the interiors of Uttar Pradesh was just like any other village in India around 1998. However, something extraordinary happened during that time which took this village from national to international level. With so much success and fame, Tomar sisters were known as the sharpshooter dadis. As a result of which this village had become an inspiring example for the entire nation.

Saand Ki Aankh also showcases a talented ensemble star cast including Prakash Jha, Vineet Singh Kumar among others, making the film one with powerhouse performances. The film is going to make noise this Diwali as it is scheduled to hit the big screens on September 27.
